Esther Pham is an accomplished pianist and dedicated educator known for her artistic refinement and thoughtful mentorship. She began studying piano at the age of five and went on to earn top honors in state and national competitions, including the MTNA Senior Performance Competition.
During her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, Esther received the Paul Van Katwijk Prize in Piano — the department’s highest award for its most outstanding undergraduate pianist. She has performed in masterclasses for internationally respected artists such as Boris Slutsky, Hung-Kuan Chen, Jerome Lowenthal, and Marc-André Hamelin.
Esther earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from SMU and is currently pursuing her Master of Music under the guidance of Sara Daneshpour, with anticipated completion in Spring 2027.
While classically trained at a high level, she also embraces jazz and contemporary styles, integrating them into a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum. Having grown up in the Dallas area, Esther combines local connection with conservatory-level training, guiding students with clarity, care, and high artistic standards.
